Advice please

Hi guys first time poster just looking for some advice,have a 4year old ds who is waiting on app to be considered for circumcising,not had much probs so far except for the odd sore willy,today he has been telling me his Willy's not working and that he can't wee,he told me it's still big,I've had a look and it seems to be v erect and he can't wee,what should I do??

A & E, it's an emergency if he can't wee.

We were out for the day at the cinema,I got him home and he was crying to wee so I put him in the shower and kept talking to him about water and asking him to listen to the shower water,so he eventually wee'd in the shower,the relief on his face was very obvious and his humour changed instantly,I put canesten cream on his Willy after shower which is what he was prescribed for when he's sore,after that he went to the loo on his own and pooped,so he's fine now but I'm wondering how that could have happened?obviously I'm goin to ring the hospital in the morning to see can we get some sort of urgency put on his appointment as we have been waiting over a year for him to be seen by a consultant,which is absolutely ridiculous for a 4 yr old boy

Poor boy. If it happens again I would take him straight to A&E. Let us know how the telephone call goes, if you can get the Consultant’s Secretsry’s direct number (so that you can badger her until she gives you an appointment to shut you up). Not as I’d ever do that of course.

Spoke to the receptionist of the doctor he's been referred to she said he should get an app by may,she said if it happens again bring him to a&e and they will have to deal with it there and then,so that's the plan if it happens again,I would rather wait for app to be honest than be dashing to the er in a panic and frightening the poor pet I think he would always have a negative view of his willy/weeing if that happened so fingers crossed wel get an app as soon as,thanks for all the replies 👍🏼

Would paying privately to see the doctor be an option?

Private isn't an option at the moment unfortunately so I'm just showering him every night making sure it's clean and dry,is circumcising something anyone can recommend?is it painful for him to get done?im assuming he will have to be sedated?

Sorry, I’ve got not experience of circumcision. If going private isn’t an option, I’d defintely make yourself a nuisance with the Dr’s secretary
