Toddler won't poo?

Hello,
My son has recently been prescribed the laxative movicol- one sachet a day. He has been taking it for four days and had a poo the first day about two hours after taking it, but nothing since! Today he keeps saying his tummy hurts and keeps bouncing around and sobbing, but just won't poo! Is there anything I can do? He has a healthy, varied diet.

My nearly four year old has been on movicol for nearly three week and has not done a real poo since starting it. He has loose poo permanently leaking from his bottom and its driving me crazy. my doctors been no help and said this if normal. My son has also been moaning about a sore tummy. I would also love to find an answer how to make him poo!!
