I am original do not train til they are begging you to let them try the loo person, ds (now 10) who as it happens is/was very bright etc trained day and night within 3 weeks aged nearly 3, no stress, he asked went straight on to toilet etc..
Anyway dd is 21 mths, not very advanced due to her Noonan Syndrome, she is not yet ably wlaking but cruises as if she walks, very confident, her gran bought her a little potty I hid it away, today before her bath she found it in the bathroom, asked what it was and I said it is to do wee wee and poo poo in.
Sat her on it for a laugh and she wee weed in it and told me.
Am flabbergasted, had totally decided to leave the whole thing til next summer....

I've only just seen this. What a little star you've got there, Piffle.
