my ds is 5.5 months old and was switched to bottle from breast at 4.5 months. I have him on aptamil which seemed to agree to begin with, then after a couple of weeks he started to get constipated, sick alot and crying with tummy ache.He was then put on antibiotics for an ear infection, which gave him diarrhea, and he was ok then lol! Now hes back off the antibiotics, hes sick alot again, crying with tummy ache and constipated? Do you think it is the formula causing this and if so do you think i should change his milk?If so which formula should i change to?thanks x

Awwww i don't know, i changed mine to farleys because of sickness..and it solved the problem. all my others were on sma....do you have a baby clinic you could go to?

maybe ask a few convos down in bottlefeeding thread (soz-cant remember actual name)..but someone might know here.

Hope your baby boy gets better soon-hard seeing them like that isn't it.

Different babies seem to react differently to different formulas (typical isn't it!).
It never occurred to me in my 'new mummy' fug that the formula could be causing ds to be pukey (and in fairness the HV never suggested it either).
Could you buy a small tin or a carton of readymixed milk of another brand to use for a few days to see if it's any better, rather than shell out on a big tin?
