What do you actually do?

My DS is 9 months and although things are a lot lore interesting than they used to be - he can now crawl and furniture cruise but I just get bored playing with him constantly. If I don’t get out to a baby group, the day just drags.

I feel guilty if I don’t play with him though. Anyone else similar or just me?

Yup. I found the baby years boring. But I have to say that once they started walking and talking things got a lot more interesting. Don’t beat yourself up - lots of DMs feel the same in the early years

Yep it's boring! I tend to manage about an hour in the house before it's coats on and or for a walk! (If we've not got plans)

I also agree that once they're walking it's so much easier, and more fun. DS is driving me mad at 13.5 months and still walking holding a finger. DD walked at 10 months so I'm finding this a drag! Can't wait until he just goes on his own as I know it's going to be so much easier. Although obviously then you're on constant danger watch - you really can't win! Wink
