Friend with PND - how to help...

A close family member has been diagnosed with PND. I'd love to help, but live an hour away, am due with DC2 next week, have CS booked for next thur, so really limited in how I can practically help - what i want go do is go over once a week to be there, help with kids so she can rest, help with housework. cook a meal etc, but I can't.

If you had PND, is there anything that people did which helped you to give me some ideas of what I can do when limited due to imminent birth of own child and not living close by.

Thanks!

Send message reassuring them they're doing a good job, listen when you can, don't wait for them to ask

Put them in touch with PANDAS

Don't tell them off

Just be as patient as is humanly possible
