What age do babies hit peak cuteness?

Mine is 7mths and I think he's there.
I just can't see him topping this.

The rolling and grinning and chortling and babbling and eating everything in sight.
He's excelled himself.

It can only go downhill from here.

Mine’s so cute I could still eat her, she’s 5 Smile

We're 9 months in and she still gets cuter all the time. Every time you think they've peaked, they pull something new out of the bag.

My nearly 3 year old is very cute. She hugs me and tells me she loves me most days. Sometimes says I am her best friend. So cute, and her singing and dancing is cute. I also have a 6 week old who is cute and so cuddly and doesn't answer back! Not sure which is best.

Around 18 months is my favourite.

Sir David Attenborough ranks 9 month old babies as one of his favourite "creatures"

My son is 32 months so nearly 3. He's none verbal but names very cute noises. He gives me lovely kisses. He's beautiful. He signs thank you by blowing kisses. David A needs to meet my son and then he'd really know his favourite creature

My twins are 5 and the cuteness is unbelievable. The early spelling is adorable and I don’t have to wipe their arses!

The middle one is eight and I just want to kiss her all the time. The smell of her hair is better than when she was a baby.

My teen had a job interview today at his favourite sushi restaurant.
He borrowed DH’s suit jacket and looked so grown up, determined yet terrified.
Hugs & kisses from the DC get better and better too.

Mine is 8 weeks, he’s all eyes and first smiles. Cutest thing in the entire world.

chaser90210 · 16/02/2018 22:54

Mine is 8 months and is just so cute! Al chubby legs and cheeks and smiles and the laughing is just brilliant. Also so cute when she's upset or grizzling and then sees me and smiles away. Love that I'm her number one

TheWeatherGirl1 · 17/02/2018 12:55

I'm enjoying this.

Maybe it's the 'edible factor' that does it for me.
Baby has suddenly doubled in size, he's taken to food like the apocalypse is about to strike, and every time I glimpse a newly chunky thigh I just want to gnaw on it.

Mine is 4.5 months and is smiley all the time now (I think she hated her first three months out of me) and giggles loads. I just want to pinch her little cheeks constantly but that wouldn't be so nice for her.

Slanetylor · 18/02/2018 22:49

I would say there are 3 peaks. Around 9/10 months. About 2 and a half. And around 5 again!

waterrat · 19/02/2018 10:03

Aw my 3 year old is peak cute. Much cuter than a boring non verbal baby !!

TheVanguardSix · 19/02/2018 10:07

9 months is the peak. It really is.They're so beautiful to look at and it's just all kind of perfect at 9 months.

TheVanguardSix · 19/02/2018 10:09

This too, with bells on --> I would say there are 3 peaks. Around 9/10 months. About 2 and a half. And around 5 again!

I've always found 3-4 really tough with mine. 5 is just awesome! I think 5 years old is just amazing.

These replies are bringing tears to my eyes! I have a 10 month old son and just when I think "this is my favourite stage" he has a new one which is my new favourite! There is something so pure about a newborn baby which sends my ovaries into meltdown but honestly finding 7 months + soooo much better. Their personalities just shine more and more (although my son is certainly getting mischievous Hmm )
I am really looking forward to the upcoming years just based on these replies!!!

wonkylegs · 19/02/2018 11:20

So many stages of cuteness we just need to remember them in the non cute moments.

Mines currently 22months and is ridiculously cute at saying please (peeeeas) and thank you (dank do) to everybody for everything
He's also adorable when he shouts cuddles and comes for a giant kiss & cuddle or the excitement he has for picking his brother up from school (melts all the parents waiting in the playground )

WhyTheHeckMe · 19/02/2018 11:26

Every phrase has been my new favourite! I remember when ds was 7 months and thinking like u that he couldn't possibly get any more adorable and that toddlers weren't really cute as they weren't babies!

When they're your own I just think you love them more each day. Ds is 2 now and I think he's cuter now than when he was 7mo but that's because he has so much personality and he's still dinky, but he can say "kiss peas mummy, luff youuu"
