So Much Poo...

Ok, so I've changed alot of dirty nappies today, and its sort of gone to my head. Thought it would be mildly amusing to try and keep my spirits up by hearing stories of other mothers who have had it worse than me in the poo department...please cheer me up! I only have 2 years or so to go until I can potty train my LO!

I'm starting things off with a lymeric to lighten the load as it were!

My baby is cute when he's happy
But he screams when theres shit in his nappy
I try not to get down
When he's covered in brown
But I sure do get fed up of crappy!

For some solidarity Liz:

We had the biggest poo explosion this morning: It went on his vest, trousers, socks, so I whipped the lot off, stupidly pulling the vest overhis head so we had poo on his hand, face and in his hair. He then kicked his legs and got poo on his thigh, tummy and in between his toes (WTF??), I scooped him up getting poo on my dressing gown and arm in the process, and dunked him in the bath to hose him down. I have just noticed a small patch of poo on the bathroom doorframe. And all before 7.30am. Lovely.

Poo just gets everywhere! Ds loves pooing in the bath
The other day he did a poo, so I took his nappy off and was bum wiping when he did the most runny poo in the world that went all over the change mat and he wriggled so much he resembled someone having a mud bath in a slightly lighter shade of brown

There was a mumsnetter called Lizzz,
Who thought her ds was a swizz.
"Why must he choose
To do copious poos?
Why have I such scatologist kids?!"

Thread going well then Lizz....

Can't understand why more people don't want to talk about poo. It's a great subject.

This must be the day for poo explosions. Just had one myself. LO sat in his chair chuntering away to me all very smiley. When I catch a whiff of something unpleasant. Pick him up and its all on the blanket which he was sat on. Thank the lord I put a blanket in the chair!
& how come, even though I am vegatarian, his poo smells of chicken? whats that about?
Had to eat my last creme egg to get over the nastiness of the last 10 minutes!
