Nappy changing tantrums

All of a sudden my 3 year old son has started having tantrums everytime I go to change his nappy. The funny thing is he does'nt mind my sister or m.i.l doing it! So I don't know where I'm going wrong. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions welcome.

Perhaps he wants to use the loo?

maybe he hates the feel of nappies

try him on the toilet

That's what I meant (sorry just reread and it didn't make a lot of sense).

Thanks, but I've tried all that. He's just not interested in potty training at the moment, despite attempts to sit him on it, and nagging from m.i.l. when she changes him that he should be out of nappies by now.

I give my dd a towel so she can play peek a boo to reduce the running away - try that.

tip

throw out your potty

go straight to the toilet

I give my very wriggly ds1 a toy or book that he has chosen to try to distract him. Sometimes works!

I just wonder why he does'nt like ME changing his nappy, when he's quite happy for my sister or m.i.l. to do it!!!!
