Bottle feeding tips

Help! I have a few occasions coming up where my DD (4.5 months) will be looked after by others (my Dad, a babysitter and her granny, on seperate occasions).

She is EBF and I cannot get her to drink from a bottle. I've tried breast milk, formula and a mix of both. I've also tried slow, medium and fast tests (I have a fast let-down). She's not interested. I'm beginning to worry that she won't feed, will get really hungry and will scream for 3 hours.

Any tips?

Have you tried MAM bottles?

The problem might be that you are trying to feed her. Try getting someone else to feed her after you have left the room.

Dd eventually took Mam after months of struggle.
Also lay her on the floor instead of your arms worked a dream for us. In arms she associated that position with breastfeeding. I put a cushion and comfy blanket on floor and she took a bottle! Smile

Great! Thank you both for your tips. I'll pick up some MAM bottles and get DH to try feeding her!
