HELP ME!!!

I really wanna use reusables I bought a set of little lambs when my daughter was born and due to a fairly hard first few months (PND - blah blah) I just didn't really use them. So now I am selling them to fund my new ones.

I have been doing so much research and I just can't decide what I want to get.

I like the look of fluffles, and the bamboozles but motherease look so comfy but I like the funky wraps and the idea of the pocket nappies.

Is it possible to have a few of each?? Would this work? How many do I need??

yes, I started out with 3 of 3 different kinds (sandys, motherease one size and kissaluvs) - liked one type more than others, so bought more of that (kissaluvs) and also have the odd one that people mentioned here ( wee notions ellas house)
and some nappies might fit your baby better than others do.
so I guess I"m saying don't buy all of one kind!
ditto with wraps, although you can't go wrong with the velco motherease wraps

melfi, I always reccomend to use different types of nappy rather than just one type as each one has it's own positives and negatives and suits different situations, e.g. an AIO is great when you are out and about as it's slim and need no wrap, but it's not a very absorbant nappy so wouldn't be good for night time use, unlike an abmboo nappy which is very absorbant, but does take a while to dry etc etc. If you would like some personal tailored advice then you can contact me on info 2 snugglebumnappies . co . uk (no spaces) my Mumsnet ad is here

Hiya MELFI - Welcome to the mindfield. There right on the mark - you dont want to go all down one road forking out tons on one kind of nappy to find you prefer pockets only or shaped. I can put together a trial pack of each type of nappy for you as im sure can snuggle bum, if you want to contact me you can google me by my user name (i cant be more specific as ill get hands slapped for advertising!). Pockets, shaped and all in ones are sold by all retailers but we differ in the brands we retail so they differ in price too. Anyway im sure you will get all the infor you want so good luck!

Hiya, a lot of places do starter sets to help you work out what you want.

You are best of working out which is most important to you - fast drying, slimness, cost and ease of use, and then talking to an advisor (feel free to email me bumfluffnappies at gmail dot com) and working out what will suit both you and your baby best.

\melfi,

try the nappy lady

The website has an advice page which means they can take your details and tailor the advice perfectly to your needs.

I am currently about to try out 3 different nappies for my DS. Used Kooshie Ultras for first stage but now he's getting bigger need the next size up and I'm sure the Kooshies don't suit us brilliantly.
