Ideas please! What would you style this with on your little girl? I ordered it from eBay thinking it was a jacket with sleeves and then this turned up......now not sure what exactly LO can wear it with, she's only 9 months old and don't think much of her current wardrobe goes with it. Confused

I was going to be helpful but this

Sorry I forgot I was posting onto a forum of judgemental grumpy old women was fucking uncalled for.

FWIW I had a stylish baby but didn't need to put anything on her feet/head/anything not comfortable. That thing you brought is useless, it won't keep her warm and it wont be comfortable inside.

The best thing to do is just ignore posters if you don’t like what they say, give them no fuel. No need to be ageist.

One of them matching leggings and long sleeve top sets. A pair of jeans and a jumper. Black leggings and some fluffy (wool-like the jacket) shoes and a nice long sleeve shirt.

I'm 36 I'm positively ancient Hmm my dd wore beautiful clothes and still does but I didn't feel the need to dress her in weird faux sheepskin gilets and kickers at the age of nine months

It's probably the fact that you keep calling it her "wardrobe". Pretentious much?

Also I'm 27 Wink

Grin

People are being a bit dickish on this thread. Why shouldn't you have fun with your baby's clothes if you want to? I'm sure she looks gorgeous.

I kind of like the gilet Blush Maybe I'm a bit jealous because boys' clothes are so boring...? I'd just put plain stuff on with it, jeggings like you say.

Also I can't understand people getting all worked up about a pair of branded shoes. Clarks shoes are expensive too! Who cares? It's your money!

Gosh there are some unfriendly replies :-(

I would put it with long t shirts, leggings or even over long sleeved t-shirt dresses.

I am sure it would also sell on after a couple of wears so you can recoup some of the money to buy something else.

Thanks to the last two posters Grin I did think a lot of the earlier comments were a bit uncalled for, must have caught Mumsnet during the nasty hour or something Hmm I shouldn't have snapped though so to those who took offence I apologise.....I'm 27 also so not like I'm a young mum or anything
