Nappy folding for dummies?

We've got a bunch of different sized flat terries but in our sleep-deprived state (lo is only 17 days old), the nappylady's instructions might as well be in cyrillic script and we can't make any sense of them!

I've tried one basic fold (no idea what it's called) and am only having moderate success - not least because I can't figure out how to get folded nappy under wriggling screaming baby and keep it folded!

any suggestions for a dead simple fold for a boy just over 4kg?

All of a sudden my 3 year old son has started having terrible tantrums everytime I go to change his nappy. The strange thing is he is quite happy for my sister or m.i.l to do it. I'm not sure what to do and am wondering whether anyone else has has this problem?

kite fold, even i can do it!do you have nappy advisor or even a fellow cloth userin your area as it does help to see someone else do it,then it suddenly comes to you and you realise you fold your washing like you fold your nappies, all my jumpers end up in kite fold!lol

i used the origami/chinese fold for little ones nad then graduated to the kitefold as they got bigger - seems hard to do at first but once you have it sorted - very quick.
