Please help - Baby sick so many times

My 10 month old has thrown up 11 times in the last hour. No temperature, gave him breast milk but came up straight after. Bouts every 5 minutes or so. Waiting to hear back from GP. Friend said she had a friend with a baby that had similar issue and went to A & E. Anyone have any advice?

Hang in there. Just sit quietly with him next to the bath (so you can aim the vomit in there) and mop him up with a damp flannel. See if it calms down. He probably is just in a vicious cycle and hopefully it will ease soon. If he is alert and ‘chatty’ then just wait it out. Dont give him anything to drink until its been at least 1 hr since the last retch. Then just a sip. If it continues for hours, keep an eye on his hydration levels by wet nappies and tears, or lack of.

Please A&E or 111, hope your little one is better soon

I'd say 111, they're great for advice and guidance

111 said OOH, but no appointments. Can drive to another about 40 minutes away. They offered GP call instead.

Thanks Sea, doing this now.

You do need to get him to OOH if you can. If he continues he will be at risk of dehydration. He still needs to drive k water despite vomiting as he is losing a lot of water by vomiting. Good luck, I hope your baby gets better very soon. 🙏🏻🤞

Thank you everyone. Got to an OOH, given dehydration drink and sent home to observe the next few days. If no wet nappy by lunchtime, suggests going back. He's finally asleep.
