Hi all,
Can anyone advise me on the best way to administer omeprazole to my 6 month old?
The hospital didn't specify so I've been putting it in her milk but it's apparently less effective that way plus it's started turning her bottles black?????

I have today drawn up the correct dose and just have it to her through the syringe she didn't mind taking it that way but just wondering what other peoples experience with it are.

Thanks in advance 😀

I used to mix it up in fruit purée.

I can't do anything like that because her reflux is so severe, we see a specialist next week but up to now we have had to stop weaning :( GP has advised and HV

If she's taking it well through the syringe, just go with that.

It takes a while to have an effect - fingers crossed.
