Looking for some advice/reassurance or even just someone to say - me too!

My DD is 1 year old. Her first ever illness/bout of being unwell Started with bad chesty cough being sick, high temp, no appetite, had antibiotics and it cleared after a week back in October

Again in December chesty cough no temp this time left it for around two weeks but in the end got another course of antibiotics once I realised it wasn’t clearing

On last day of course of antibiotics She was well and took her to soft play. Her cough never completely cleared with last round of antibiotics but she was not unwell

Next morning broke out in rash all over body, was advised to take her to hospital when we got to hospital her temp was high, temp of 39.2

Was given calpol at hosp, brought temp down by 1 degree but she had a high heart rate so more calpol and observations for a few hours

Doc assessed Her and said she thought it was viral rash to do with another virus but could
Potentially be chicken pox or hand foot and mouth. Doc said ears were very inflamed and throat was a little red. She was happy as she was still eating and drinking and We were sent home.

Next day rash started to go away, by day 3 rash was gone and no temp

Now we are at the stage were her Cough is still really bad runny nose still bad ears still inflamed and quite dirty looking all of this from around Christmas Day, and a course of antibiotics with no improvement at all.

THEN to top it all off Woke up this morning with both eyes green gunky red and puffy, and completely stuck together getting worse throughout the day :(

Been unwell for around 6 weeks now and I want to know if any other mums/babies have been through the same recently? I know babies get unwell a lot but she’s not at nursery and doesn’t have a huge amount of contact with other children were she could pick things up.

Me and Dad are both well so it’s not us :(

Anyone going/ gone through the same? Have any advice or stories of what happened with your LO and if they ever got better :(
