I am going to be doing my degree at a college and hopefully my daughter will go to the creche there. I presumed I would get her in 5 days a week, as when I am on placement it will be for 5 days a week. The college have informed me I would only get her in for the time I am at lectures and then full time only when on placements.

I was hoping, that when not on placement, I could study 9-5 mon-fri while she was in the creche, (obviously lecture hours during this time too).

If anyone has their child at a uni or college creche how do your hours work? After reading this people may think I don't want to spend any time with my child, I do honest ,

I suppose they mean you would have to pay for extra hours? As surely they could look after her from 9-5? My dd is in a university nursery (3 mornings a week) but we have to pay for it - we have got some money from the university access fund to help though - would your university help out in this way?
