Weaning question

My little boy is 5 months old and I've been trying him on some solids for a wee while because he's started to need bottles really close together so I thought I'd give it a go

He seems to really enjoy his one solid meal a day however he seems to have gone off his bottles and I'm wondering how often I should be feeding him solid meals ?

Usually it's baby rice or a veg liquidised with his milk ?

Any advice ? :)

Try giving him some of his bottle before the meal, when he's hungry but not the full bottle then he'll have a good glug. As he gets more food you can make the mashes a bit wetter to use up the milk. Does he not want a bottle at other times?
