I work for an education, training and production programme based in the North of England that enables young people interested in all art forms to create bold, daring and challenging expressions of creativity delivered in short film form.
One of our artists is looking to make a film exploring ‘empty nest syndrome’ - a feeling of grief and loneliness parents may feel when their children leave home for the first time. The artist is looking to speak with parents whose child has recently left the family home, and informally explore this topic with them.
