Why is my child's bottom so spotty?

She's 4 and I've noticed she seems to have what looks like a very spotty rash on her bottom.

She says it isn't sore or itchy.

She is stil wearing pull ups at night so could it be sweat rash? Or something else?

We had this recently with 5 year old DS, I never did figure out what it was! We made sure he had a proper wash before bedtime and that his bum was dry before putting his pull up on and it went away in a week or so.

My daughter has just had hand, foot and mouth. Spotty bum came first and it wasn't itchy or sore (even though it looked like it should be)

Hmm, I'll try making sure her bum is definitely dry before bedtime and see if that helps.

I doubt it's HFM as she's had spots for months but this is the worst I've seen them.

Got some children's sanex for baths incase she has sensitive skin.

Next step for me to try is non-bio laundry stuff to see if that helps.

My DD had this until she was dry at night (3).maybe just use a barrier cream at night until she goes dry?
