What are they doing? Just out of curiosity! Here are my DD's stats.

7mo
2 teeth
15lb 9pz
6-9 month clothes
Wakes 3-4 times a night
Has 3 meals a deal (finger food and spoon fed)
Bf every 4 hours
Can roll both ways
Can wave and clap
Babbles but no recognisable sounds/words

What are your similar aged DCs doing?

I have a 7 month old DS

Was 19 lbs last time I checked a bout 3 weeks ago.
2 teeth also
6-9 month clothes fit but some starting to get tight
Wakes 3 + times a night
2 naps (first one is 2 hours, second is 45 mins)
3 meals a day ( feeding all different ways as just give him what we the rest of family are eating so with spoon or fingers depending)
Probably BF every 4 hours roughly but don't count so not sure and also still feeding at night

Rolling all over the house
Starting to crawl backwards but not quite on all fours yet
Lots of babbling baba dada etc
Can't wave or clap yet
Laughs constantly at his older sisters Smile
Sitting up by himself just the last week or so

So pretty similar to yours!

SleepForTheWeek · 23/01/2018 19:30

Another night waker!

Also 2 naps here although sometimes squeezes in 30min one at tea time. Roughly 90mins each

Sitting unaided but still a bit wobbly!

MumJ21 · 23/01/2018 19:36

Also 2 naps a day! Morning and afternoon

Smurfy23 · 23/01/2018 19:40

Dd is 7 months
2 teeth also
Prpbably around 18lbs- due to take her to be weighed soon but shes been poorly
In 6-9 but swapping clothes over tomorrow to 9-12 as shes a tall little lady
Once she falls into a deep sleep doesnt usually wake til morning but that usually takes about an hour or so after going to bed (and a few cries) to happen. I know Im incredibly lucky and very rarely repeat this fact out loud.
3 naps a day- 30 mins each
3 meals a day- mix of spoon and fingerfoods
4 bottles of formula a day although thats going down to 3 as she loses interest in mid morning feed
Sits unaided
No interest at all in rolling. She will probably be 25 before this happens!!
Babbling- said dada last week and nana today. No sign of mama though!
Shes trying very hard to clap but cant do it yet.
But very very smiley and happy all the time

shittyshitybangbang · 23/01/2018 19:40

Mostly not waking at night at the moment
2 daytime naps
3 meals a day (spoon fed every meal plus some finger foods)
BF for first feed of the day, then 3 bottles during day (500-600ml)
Sits well
Not interested in moving anywhere! Can roll but doesn't often do it.
Has waved a few times but still grasping that
Not clapping yet but loves banging objects together
Babbles, lots of gaga sounds, some dada

Blueskyrain · 23/01/2018 21:06

7mo
2 teeth
Approx 19 pounds
6-9 month clothes
Wakes between once a night and all the time
Has 3 meals a deal (finger food and spoon fed)
4 bottles a day
Babbles a bit.
Crawls everywhere, pulls up and stands at furniture with one hand.
Can get from lying, to sitting, to crawling and back again

TheWeatherGirl1 · 23/01/2018 21:50

About 17lb
No teeth
No discernible words, lots of A's and E's.
Nearly sitting but still quite wobbly bobbly.
Much rolling in both directions.

Sadly no waving or clapping
But a lot of laughing and smiling.
A rather smart caterpillar crawl on back with which he can cover quite a distance.
Mostly still in 3-6 clothes.
Two solid meals a day and BF every 4 hours.
Wakes between 2 and 800 times a night.
Has 2 naps.
Just loves a good fussing.

Greylilypad · 23/01/2018 22:07

For those whose babies sleep through or even only wake once a night, did you do anything for this to happen or did it just happen by itself?! DS sleep seems to be getting worse, not better. Always ends up in our bed during the night too

TheWeatherGirl1 · 24/01/2018 01:23

We employed a sleep consultant who whipped us into shape, and we also did some gentle sleep training. He went from waking up 10+ times a night to twice.
Although we still get some not so great nights, it has changed our lives.

Shmithecat · 24/01/2018 01:56

My DS at
8(!!!!!!) teeth
Puree and demand bfing.
Waking multiple times a night.
Not rolling but started sitting up unaided.
Babbled a lot.
Could clap and wave.
Age 9-12 clothes for length.

CupcakeWithIcing · 24/01/2018 02:20

No teeth yet
Haven't weighed in a while but he is HEAVY.
Can sit himself up with a bit of a struggle and lots of encouragement
Can sit unaided and 'army crawl' for short distances but mostly pushing backwards and getting legs stuck under sofa.
Rolling all over the place
9-12m clothing
Says 'mama'GrinGrinGrinGrin
3 meals and puddings a day plus 5 8oz bottles and lots of snacks in between
No night wakings since 2mo
His fave game ever in the world is throwing himself back and forth in the bouncer so he is flung forward and then backwards over and over until he pukes up apple and pear purée.
He can stand while holding furniture for about a minute but no actual cruising yet Sad

MumJ21 · 24/01/2018 07:24

My LO just started to sleep for longer periods of time not sure what changed, maybe more food or shorter naps. However she was awake last night talking from 4:45 to 5:30 this morning which is so unlike her!!

SleepForTheWeek · 24/01/2018 09:55

My DD sleep also getting worse although I remember this happened with DD1 at a similar age too.

She only woke twice last night but it's usually every 2 hours.

DD1 (3.3) still wakes during the night!

OP posts:
Greylilypad · 25/01/2018 21:53

Theweathergirl1 - would you mind telling me what the sleep consultant advised? Even two wake ups would be so much better than what we have now. I couldn't even count how many times he woke last night! Then I am up early with my other two DCs and busy all day - so wrecked Sad
Would happily try some gentle sleep training if I knew where to start!
