Mum Blogging

Do you write a Mum Blog? Keep a YouTube channel? Do you watch Mummy Vloggers? Do you have a favourite Mum blog? Why are these things a thing and does not having one make me a bad mum? I watch the YouTube videos of some Mum vloggers. Because SAHM days can be loooong.

Aren't all mums basically doing the same things? Why do some mum blog/vloggers get paid to tell their stories and others not?

You know on Instagram when a Mum blogger posts a beautiful photo of their family by the sea or against some urban chic backdrop with a gushy caption about the magical weekend and how sad it is that it passed by so quickly, then they ask a question? Something like 'how did you spend your weekend'? Why is that?

What makes a mum blogger popular and another not? Is the market saturated now? I wonder where Mum blogging will go. Will my child feel bad that his youth is not fully documented online in beautiful prose and photoshop edited images?

tell you, my mum blogvlog would be sooo incredibly boring:

Walking the dogs. #blessed [pans across gloomy sky, Wellington boots walk through muddy recreation ground] ^Went to free library baby music class. [lacklustre singing and rattles with bells] Baby smiled a lot in the class. Didn't want him to touch anything in case he caught a cold. Class ended. Tried to look approachable. Spoke to no one. Baby drank milk. Baby screamed when I put him in the carrier. Baby fell asleep on walk home from the library. Home. First coffee of the day. Not even from a chain because I can't afford that looool.
^
I mean I might include paragraphs and things in an actual blog. Plus it's unclear whether the above is supposed to be a blog or word vlog. A combination.

Any thoughts?^
