Me again. The one that keeps asking for favours?

Hi
It is me again. The one that keeps asking for favours.
I am about to sit gcse maths in June!! 5 weeks away. I am doing the intermediate paper. I am hoping someone can recommend a good book which explains maths. I have gcse ingtermediate mathematics by David Rayner which my teacher has been using. It is fine in class as the teacher explains it better. I need something with full explanations now.
If they did a "gcse maths for dummies" then that would be great for me.
Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The Letts Guides are always very good - I sat the intermediate paper (although a good 14 years ago but maths itself hasn't really changed ony the way they teach it)and got a B, even though they said I'd fail and I swore by my GCSE Letts guide.

If you look here you can see sample pages of the CGP Maths guide (Intermediate). These are excellent - they explain everything very clearly (and with a sense of humour).

Online www.s-cool.co.uk/topic_index.asp?subject_id=15 has clear explanations as well.

Good luck!

Thanks for repyling everyone.
Went into waterstones today and bought the revision guide intermediate level from cpg. Also the Letts revise gcse guide. Funny because I have only just saw the replies to my post now. Must be getting psychic.
Realise my problem is I don't know the level 3 stuff so trying to do the level 4 (gcse stuff) is killing me off.
Oh well, sure I will master it within 5 weeks. Along with a 2000 word pschology essay and a presentation.
Thanks again everyone.
