She is straining badly and crying when trying to pass harder lumpy poos :( the pharmacy didn’t really know so was wondering if I can give her a little bit of that Heinz apple juice for 6m babies? (She’s not a tiny baby -75 percentile) so would this be ok/how much?

Breast or bottle fed? Have you tried a small amount of cool boiled water?

FF , she won’t take cool boiled water - she acts as if we are poisoning her lol

I doubt a health professional would agree but we gave DD some orange juice at about that age, literally just 10ml and it sorted it for her. If she continues to have this problem I’d take her to the gp but as a one off it was fine.
