Hi mummy's .. mainly aimed at mums with children aged 2 but what is your child's sleep routine like ? My little boy is 28 months he has always been a really good sleeper he goes to bed every night about 7 and doesn't need to be soothed he still has a afternoon nap about 12.30-2 but my issue is he is such a early riser he wakes between 5-5.30 . He doesn't cry or anything he will stay in his room talk away until I wake up which is usually around 6/7 as I hear him wake and struggle to get back to sleep as I feel bad that he's been awake so early . Just feel like by the time it's 10ish he's crabby because he's tired ..His bedroom doesn't get light as he has blackout blinds and I keep the heating on slightly so it isn't that he's cold . Any suggestions ?? X

I would start by shortening his nap by 10 minute segments. Could he be hungry or thirsty? Is there something happening outside which could be waking him?
