Weaning advice - freshly prepared vegetable bags from superstores

Hi all

To save myself time I have been buying bags of fresh veg from Tesco, Sainsburys and marks and Spencer's that look like the attached picture. The back mentions sugar and salt under nutritional info but it looks like these are natural as opposed to ones with added salt and sugar as it does not mention it in the ingredients section (mentioned only in the nutritional value).

Does anyone know if these are ok to use for baby weaning?

Yes, should be fine as long as there is no added sugar or salt, but honestly I would just use what you cook for yourselves and save yourself the extra expense as much as you can. But yes, if you aren't eating veg that day, but want to include some extras for baby, should be fine.

Buy frozen veg instead! It has the same (or sometimes even more) nutrients than fresh and you'll never waste any.

I would want to cut up my own veg for a weaning baby, that way I would know it is fresh, and clean!
