8 week old sleeping pattern

Hi ladies, I'm a New first time mum looking for a bit of advice on sleeping routine for my daughter
She is 8 weeks old, feeding every 4 hours. Generally 8/12/4 I have been trying the last two weeks to establish routine bath at around 7:15 ready for bottle at 8, when I take her out the bath she screams so bad and gets herself into a real state and won't even take her bottle after a lot of nursing she goes off to sleep and then wakes a short while after to be fed. she will be settled and sleep for a short time and keep waking, she is using a dummy so tend to put that back in and leave her alone but she is waking multiple times until finally falling asleep around 10:30/11. I have tried to bath earlier but still the same problem and not going to deep sleep until later sometimes being wide awake the whole time. Any suggestions on why she is so distressed when I get her out he bath and how I can get her to deep sleep earlier, thanks xx

I wouldn't really worry too much about getting an 8 week old into a routine. It'll change regularly anyway.

My baby, of a similar age, wakes at 10pm, 12am, 2am, 3am, 4am, 5am and 6am.

I would guess that she is becoming hysterical because she is either too tired for a bath then or she is hungry. Don't worry about getting into a bathing routine at 8 weeks, at this age just feed on demand and sleep when she sleeps (on an night I mean, obviously this isn't practical advice for the daytime). Try giving her a bath earlier see if she is less distressed

I know I'm very lucky with her and I take my hat off to those waking all throughout the night she was like that the first 4 weeks and I was exhausted! I had read else where to start the routine process from about 6 weeks so I thought better to do it sooner rather than later but if you say not to worry then I'll ease up a bit. I think she must be over tired because she refuses her bottle even when it's been her usual 4 hours between.
