we usued to use terried but are now moving onto more shaped nappies as ds fidgets so much!personally i think prefolds and fidgety toddler wouldnt go.

most people will come on and tell you to stay clear of Bambino Mio's, but I have used them for all 3 of mine and have found them great - really easy to use. Ds3 is still in them and they have lasted well, although I have bought new wraps for him.
Try them first and see how you get on.

not had a problem with pre-folds and very active toddlers.

used BMs on dd from 5 weeks til she was potty trained at 2 and never had problems with them.

they were actually better for her as a toddler as they were far less bulky than shaped nappies. also the fact that you put it on as one piece means changing goes a little bit quicker which is great with a toddler.

they couldn't cope with her nights but then even a double boosted bumble had difficulty there

should add though they do not work for ds at all, no idea why but he seems to leak right out the sides
