Too Late

Getting very annoyed now and need some advice... my dad is 10 weeks old and have had a letter through saying her first vaccinations are not going to be until 25/01 this is another 2 weeks away!! To me this seems way too long especially this time of year and with all the flu and viruses going around at the moment. Have phoned surgery once and was told this is when the clinic is and they do a batch of children all at once and this date is when all will be done.. treating children like barn hens!!! Any advice on who I can go to and get these done quicker or to put in a complaint thanks

It won't have that much of an effect if your DD has her jabs a little late.

As for your point about flu and viruses going around, the jabs won't protect against that as that's not the ones she's having. If there's no appointments, there's not a lot you can do.

We had the same. Our surgery did a weekly drop in jabs clinic so we just went to an earlier weeks session. Baby has to be a day over the 8 weeks (I know yours is 10 w but just for future reference- our clinic was a Tuesday and she was born on a weds so we had to wait.
