Sorry that should say that we’re moving from wrexham to Newcastle a week today & im just not sure if I should get on with it & start toilet training this weekend whilst we’re in our own house (which we’ve only been in for 8 months) or if I should wait until we are settled in Newcastle?

I would wait as she is going to be massively unsettled and you do t want to go on a long car journey with untrained toddler in knickers.

I waited until my DD said she wanted to wear knickers instead of a nappy, this was a week before her 3rd birthday, No point pressuring them until they say they are ready.

thank you very much, I thought that was what people would say but I just wanted to be sure. I feel there is a lot of pressure to toilet train as soon as possible and maybe I should've done it before now but ew only found out that we would be moving on xmas eve and with work and nursery there just wasn't time to do it.
