Hi everyone

My dd is 24 weeks today we will be introducing solids this weekend, she is formula fed (was breast & still has 1 breastfeed per day), id guess she has 1/2 days left of her aptamil 1st infant milk left once we have finished this should I buy the same or move onto the follow on number 2 milk?

Thanks

Health visitors/nhs say to carry on with the first formula milk up until one year rather than move on to follow on milk as they only produce follow on milk so they can advertise it as they aren’t allowed to advertise first milk.
I did move DD onto follow on milk but I don’t think it really matters

Just buy more first milk, no need for infant milk/follow on milk at all.
