Hi, my 8 month old is not well. He’s been agitated since Sunday, he constantly cries, arches his back and is not himself. He had a bad fever over 3 days and I took him to doctors who said he seems ok it’s probably a virus. Well today I woke up and he’s got a nasty rash on his tummy. I’ve done the glass test and they do disappear. I spoke to the doctor on the phone and she said it sounds like a viral rash and we can’t give him anything. He has been on and off all day but just this last hour he has been hysterical he won’t eat he drinks half his milk, is still having wet nappies. But I’m a bit worried that it could be something more. Am I being paranoid and It is a virus and he’s just not feeling well? Unsure if to ring 111.

I'd ring out of hours. My little girl had her 3 lot of injecations and after it she weren't right she was sick a lot coughing snobby fast breathing and I took her doctors they said it was because of her injections took her back out of hours couple days later turned out she had broncolitus. Hope your little one will be ok x

Thank you, rang 111 a nurse is ringing us back within two hours. He’s happy as Larry playing now but he goes from this to being inconsolable within minutes. X
