Pram 5 months old

My DD has carrycot rage, she screams (high pitched like she is in physical pain) the entire way round a shop until I am too embarrassed and leave or take her out and she stops instantly. She doesn't do it in a sling but she's getting a bit heavy for me now and I'm pretty certain she wouldn't do it in the upright/reclined pram attachment for our travel system because I think she just wants to see what's going on. She's long and thin so the straps are just a tad too big, is there a reason why she needs to be 6 months to be in it (which is what I've noticed manufacturers all say)? She has excellent head control. Is there anything I can do so the straps are more snug?

I put DS in the other part at 5 months. He was able to sit up very well from then and hated laying down. She will be fine

She'll be fine as long as you don't let her sleep for ages on a recline.

Great. My only concern is it says not to use it if you can fit more than 2 fingers between the baby and straps, I can but it's 3 at a push. Anything to make it more snug? Any products out there that do this?

Perhaps you need a comfier sling if that works better? Mine didn't really like the buggy until he was about 2 but would happily go in the sling.

I'd say that if you're sure she's secure and not going to fall out of the straps it'll be ok. My DD is very little (2nd percentile) and at 8 months the pushchair harness still isn't that snug but I think she's ok in it.
