Need help. Little one has brought up his last two FF. he hasn't pooped for nearly 3 days. I was at GP with him last week due to this and they wasn't massively concerned. Advised half oz prune juice with half oz boiled water morning and night till he went- we did that last week and he started going once a day. I've tried the prune juice today and nothing apart from full feeds being brought back up. Should I be worried tonight? Do I need to take him anywhere or contact anyone?

How old is he? Is he exclusively ff? Have you tried baby massage, cycling his legs and rubbing a warm flannel on his anus?

How old? When he does go is it rock solid? Some babies just don't poop regularly and bringing up bottles is also very normal. I would be messing around with prune juice etc unless the poos he does do are like rocks.

He's 5 weeks and 4 days. Completely ff x

Agree completely with pp - they don’t need to go daily. Best to judge by poo consistency rather than frequency and giving a five week old anything other than formula is outdated advice which can be unsafe. How much formula does he take?
