My beautiful boy has his first set of jabs tomorrow and I'm rather anxious! Any pearly bits of wisdom or advice anyone can give me? Thanks ladies x

Make sure you take calpol with you as you have to give them 2.5ml straight after as precaution. My tip would be to give him it ten minutes or so before as that way alittle pain relief already in his system and it means you're not flustered having to give him it right after when he may be crying. DS cried for a second after the imma but then I put his dummy in then he was fine and we walked it with a calm content baby. They will soon forget and immediate distraction is the key.

Be prepared that they do the jabs at the same time (two nurses) in both legs- oh it felt brutal watching :( my LO cried for 30 seconds and all was forgotten.

Put them in something easy - not a full on outfit, and perhaps something darker- on the second jabs, they didn’t put any cotton wool on and it leaked blood.

^oh and your LO will probably sleep a lot after ... don’t worry at all - just enjoy some peace.
