Two year old tantrums getting me down

Hi all, I know its totally normal behaviour but I'm starting to feel so drained by my DD's tantrums. She is 2.8 and turns 3 in April. The last month or so she has really dialled up the tantrums a notch and it's now full on, red-faced screaming. A lot of the time it's when she wakes up in the morning, despite the fact she's just woken from a solid 12 hour sleep. She sleeps very well.
She just decides to scream "NO!" when she wakes and that's it. This morning was 45 minutes of it non-stop. We had to leave the house at a certain time and in the end DH and I had to wrestle her between us to get her dressed and then we had to take her to the childminder with no breakfast (the childminder gave her some but she normally has it at home) Sad

The thing that gets me most is there's literally no reason for it, I feel so clueless on how to handle it. We ignore her, don't engage with her until she's calm enough to talk and put her in time out or her bedroom but it's just so extreme. Is this normal? Is it developmental at her age? PLEASE someone tell me this is a phase Sad

Also pregnant with number 2 and terrified of having to handle a newborn and tantrums like this, although baby not due until June so I'm praying she's over this crap by then....

And just for more info - tantrums like this are not ALL the time but they are fairly regular, as I say mostly at the moment seems to be when she first wakes.
She sleeps amazingly, she eats very well, she's an active girl and she's not unwell etc.

Hi my lb is 2.4 and has been the same since I fell pregnant. Tantrums are a new level, and also wakes screaming. He used to sleep untill 7 but now wakes between 5.30-6.30 full on crying and screaming. Also refusing to nap. I also worry about dealing with a toddler and a newborn but just figure it will sort itself out...hopefully. Maybe she knows your pregnant and things are going to change? X
