My 6 year old DS just showed me this picture he'd drawn. The box of writing says 'oh I think I'm going to wee'
He is Y 2 and the youngest in his class- he's always been classed as 'working towards' age expected standards but not so far behind as to cause massive concern and I really thought he had been making massive strides recently especially with his reading which has always been an issue.
My main concern here is the 'th' sound in think he's written as 'ht' crossed with lots of letters written backwards - is this something that at his age I should be concerned about? Is this normal for a six year old? Am I worrying about nothing - any thoughts welcomed. I hope the picture come out clearly
