Annoying Mum

Does anyone else's Mum say stupid comments. I mean I love my mum but my lord does she say some stupid things. Like today I told her that I only really have my heating on for around 3 Hours max a day and she said that's why the boys get ill with colds 🤦🏼‍♀️. And the other day my baby was wearing dark grey and she kept telling me she didn't like it.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I love my mum and we get on well 98% of the time. She flummoxed me recently by requesting I get an answering machine because she worried a bit when I didn't pick up.

Her logic was that if she could leave me a message she would then 'know' I was okay.

My mum says I should quit my job because it seems too hard and not convenient for me Grin

Oh god there’s loads!
The kids have got cold hands.
I shouldn’t get my sons hair cut the way I do.
I buy them far too many clothes and shoes (not bragging but they do have far too many!)
I shouldn’t wash their hair every night.
I shouldn’t bath them every night as now we are stuck in that routine!
Both kids should get 13 hours sleep a night! They manage about 11.5-12 most nights but they should be in bed by 6pm not 7pm apparently!!!
Good job I love her!

My mum sat and told me how to feed my child. That's 10 month old, 91st centile DC2. Think we've sorted getting food into him! Then about a minute later complained about her mum telling her how to make a vegetable soup she's been making for about 40 years. It must be a mum thing. No doubt I'll do it myself one day.

Oh my days ladies 😂🙄. Let's hope we don't end up saying silly things like that when we are Grannies haha!
