11 month old cold and norovirus?

Our 11 month old ds had a few settling in sessions at nursery last week in anticipation of him starting next week.

He was up most of last night with an awful cold and this morning had a couple of runny nappies which we put down to him catching this cold, probably at nursery.

Then dp was giving him lunch earlier and he started coughing then was very sick which we've not really had to deal with before with him - cue lots of panicking from us both grabbing bleach bottles and spraying everything in sight and trying to calm a very tired and snotty baby!

He's woken from a good nap and had a good glug of water and is kind of playing with his bricks but hes clearly not himself.

Has a slight temp of 37.8.

Anyway dp has convinced himself it's not norovirus as too much of a coincidence to have a cold and that at the same time. I think he can have both but we are worried that we are all due back at work/nursery come Tuesday and worried we are all going to be ill.

What's the likelihood of this becoming a very poorly household over the next couple of days can anyone reassure me?!

Sorry for the ramble.

It could just be him swallowing mucus and coughing leading to sickness. My daughter is 12 months and has been sick every morning for three days after milk but is absolutely fine otherwise and is keeping food down. I've stuck to just toast and mash for the past few days just in case though. She's had a cold and cough for weeks but can't seem to shift it.
