Baby cold- is this normal?

Three month old DS has a cold which he caught off me, he is really snuffly, runny nose, little cough but no fever. Today he has only woken to feed and then gone straight back to sleep. This isn't like him- should I be worried?

As long as he is alert when his awake and you can rouse him then no don't be to worried

I wouldn't worry if he's waking to take his milk okay. He'll be needing the extra sleep to fight the cold virus, bless him.
Just keep an eye on him, check his temperature etc and if you do have any concerns, seek medical advice.
I'm sure he'll be fine though x

To be honest, that sounds like me when I’m ill. I only surface for food and the call of nature

It sounds like he is fine. The body heals during sleeping, that’s why he needs it :)

Perfectly normal so long as he's alert and responding when awake.

My 9 week old has literally just gotten over a cold that lasted 8 days...He was exactly the same. Would wake to feed-burp and want to go straight back to sleep! He was alert when awake though. But if I tried to keep him up he'd get super cranky!
