3 and 1 year old. EVERYTHING is a battle. I try Snd be positive, use distraction and encouragement. I’m so so tired of it now.

Ds (3) is do destructive and unless he had my one to one attention and direction will just cause chaos.

Flowers It really is tough OP and you have difficult ages there, especially if they are competitive for your attention.

It does get better as the 3 year old becomes more independent.

I was a great believer in child proofing and we have massively restricted the number of toys the kids have which mean that I didn't have to tidy up so much.

Keep your chin up xx

Right there with you OP!

I have a 3 year old and an 8 month old. When does it stop feeling like a daily slog??!

Sounds v much like my 3 year old boy, OP. I was just about to post something similar. I have a 3 month old baby too. Does he go to Preschool? I find that a lifesaver though now we have almost 3 weeks holiday closure it's so so hard, I am counting the days until it starts again ... Does he like imaginative play? That helps mine sometimes if I can encourage him into it, though it usually results in a horrendous mess as he uses many objects for it. What I hate at the moment is never being able to clear up the mess everywhere due to hands always being full with the two of them... Winter's harder, I think it'll get easier for you when you can spend more time outdoors.
