Anyone else's toddler driving them insane?

Twenty-one-month-old has hit toddlerhood with a vengeance in the last few days. Food fussiness, tantrums, general naughtiness. Nothing out of the ordinary, but just all at once when she was a dream child up to this,
And of course her childminder is on holiday for two weeks, and it's pouring rain so we're all cooped up in our small house.

I might have to start mainlining gin if this continues.

Please share your Terrible Toddler stories to cheer me up.

My son will be two in January and we’ve just been to the supermarket which was a disaster. He refused to get in a trolly then refused to walk nicely and just ran around. We have definitely hit the ‘my do it’/ ‘no’/ has to have thing a certain way toddler stage. I’ve decided I’m never taking him to the supermarket again until he’s a teenager (and then won’t want to come!)

Ha! I vowed last week to never take mine to the shops again as she kept pulling things off the shelves. I only just managed to save a bottle of olive oil in time. Shock

Mine is nearly 2 and we stupidly went to the supermarket today. Cue her screaming, refusing to sit in the trolley and then running off. I now remember why I shop online haha.

Dinner today- her bread was "big". Tear it in two and it is "broken" - cue tears and strops. Mine is nearly 2.5!

Mine is nearly 3. Refused to get dressed to go out to the children's play I'd booked. Screamed and had major tantrum when I tried to insist. And is potty training and decided to withhold wees and poos today, which had me worried! And at the moment is shouting at the top of his voice from the moment he gets up. Not necessarily angrily, sometimes just high spirits, but still shouting...

Oh God, tell me about it!! DD2 is just turned 2 and goes from being the cutest, most adorable little girl on earth to screaming banshee at the drop of a hat, at least five times a day. We’re one week into the Christmas break and I’m already looking forward to sending her back to nursery next week... (where she’s usually beautifullly behaved, I might add!) Blush

God, the screaming! My little noisebox has taken to screaming just for pleasure, as well as when she's hurt, frustrated, or laughing. My poor ears!
