Hi,
My son (17) doesn't live with me but we are in contact and he does stay occasionally. I had xmas organised this year as being at mine tho he did keep putting in blocks that I had to keep getting over but did.

He told me bluntly last week that he was working xmas day and that is it....no conversation etc. No chance of saying we'll get together another day etc. That's just it.
I feel so hurt and just how he's done it.

OK so I have some pressies for him....my instinct was to just leave them here and he'll get them when he ever turns up again but then I felt petty and do I just send them up with his sibling and then just draw a line under it?

What would you all do?

Yes send them with his sibling.

If you keep them until he comes, it’s almost like holding them to ransom.

I’d send them with the siblings too. Heartbreaking as it is for you it’s showing your effort.

OK...that's sort of where I was getting to even tho it breaks my heart, I needed to be rational and not emotional!
I will do.
Thanks for putting things into context.
