What is/was your ten year old DS like?

Curious to know what's "normal" at this age.

DS is driving me to distraction. Angry

He is cheeky, argumentative, grumpy, and tells lies. He can also be sweet, funny and kind but I'm seeing less and less of the latter and more of the former at the moment.

From what I remember my DS was pretty much the same. He’s 13 now and so much calmer, thank goodness.

DD is now 10 and pretty much the same as your DS. We’re trying to remain as calm as possible and just keep praying she’ll calm down soon.

Have you checked out the pre-teens section too? That’s stopped me from murdering her a few times Grin

Thank you. It's reassuring to know your 13 year old DS has calmed down. I've been scared that this is going to be him from now on and through the teenage years but it seems there's hope!

I didn't realise there was a preteen section, will have a look over there. Thanks again.

Ds turns 11 this weekend but he can be funny and interesting and incredibly kind and thoughtful.

However he also can be ridiculously over dramatic, selfish, whiny and jealous.
