I've noticed that the PUL in some of my nappies is damaged, but it's not consistent. It doesn't seem relate to the age or make of the nappy, and it doesn't seem to be any of the wraps, just some of the AIOs and a couple of the pockets.
My newest Totsbots has scratches in the lining like it's been caught by a fingernail or something (but there's a few of them) and a couple of my Little Lamb pockets have developed little holes.
Is this necessarily down to how I'm washing them? Or is there another factor I'm not thinking of?
I usually put them in at 60 or my Energy saving function which washes at 35/40. Always with a prewash. I put in a scoop of Miofresh in the main wash, the majority of the powder in the prewash and a little bit (probably about 2 tbsp) in the main wash. (Came to this routine after a bit of experimentation! It seems to be what works best for getting them clean)
PS I never tumble dry after I did it with my original Bambinos and the PUL disintegrated.
