Hi

My DS is 18 weeks old. Over the last week he has started being sick after his feeds. Im not talking a bit of spit up its more like exorsist style. It doesn't seem to bother him .
Hes not reaching or coughing it just comes out of no where then hes laughing afterwards.

He doesn't have a temp. He did have a runny bum for a few days which made me think stomach bug or his teeth . But hes been ok for the last 2 days . Though we were over it but hes now just thrown up his entire last feed. Was about 30mins after feeding.
Again no temp doesnt seem to bother him.

Any ideas on what it could be
Thanks

Is he breastfeeding? If so could it be something you're eating that's different? DD used to do this occasionally, sometimes for several nights on a trot. Always not long after a feed. I think she was taking too much milk to the point that her stomach was overfull so it would just all come back out in one big fountain.

I had the world's pukiest baby so I feel your pain. Every feed was given swathed in multiple muslin cloths (on me, baby, sofa), I became adept at catching flying vom explosions and I have vivid memories of walking round shopping malls trailing vomit onto the marble floors as he projectile puked over my shoulder.

Ranitidine sorted DS out, or at least made it
more manageable. Like your baby he was never in any discomfort with it, although when it was particularly bad he sometimes got a bit distressed.

Could it be reflux?

Thanks ladies . Hes bottle fed . He is a greedy baby and tends to drink fairly quickly . Maybe he is just taking to much to quickly.
Thanks x
