How much should I spread them out?

Have one wonderful little boy atm, pregnancy, birth were so easy and he's sleeping 9-6 at 13wks so he's destined to be an only one as any more couldn't live up to him!- but if in a moment of weakness I give in to temptation, is there an ideal spacing for siblings?
There are 20mths between my brother and I, but some people say its easier if the first child is older?

I have gap of 25 months, and it was fine. And neither of mine sleep through regularly yet (they're 3 & 1!!)

My gap nearly three years and has been a dream, however see thread for 'large families, small or big gaps' for more advice on small gaps.
