Minimum clothes requirement for a 6 month old boy?

My baby is 6+ months old and has grown so fast that he's already pushing the limits on 9-12 month clothes.

Some things he gets hardly a wear out of at all before they are too small. I don't buy a lot, he only has one drawer of clothes which is about half full.

What would say would be the basic clothing requirements for a non walking 6-8 month old that will be wearing 12-18month clothes.

I have short and long sleeved vests. Sleep suits. 10 vests in total. 7 sleepsuits. Long sleeved tops and bottoms. 10
tops and bottoms. No point having short sleeved t shirts and shorts in this weather. And sweaters. I have 5 sweaters. And a ton of bibs because he is perpetually dribbling.

Dungarees are fab for crawling and cruising. Maybe 5 pairs of dungarees from eBay, couple of packs of vests, tights (prefer these to socks) and some sleepsuits. Job done!

I’d say a weeks worth of vests, sleep-suits, bottoms and long sleeved tops. Then 3 or so jumpers/indoor jackets and socks. Maybe 1 smarter outfit. It does depend how often you wash though.

7x short sleeved vests, 7x long sleeved vests, 7x sleepsuits, 4x long sleeved tops, 4x warm leggings, couple of jumpers/cardigans, couple pairs dungarees, 10x socks, coat, snowsuit, hat, mittens (this weather in mind!)

Think it entirely depends on how often you wash but I’d say 7 vests and 7 sleepsuits. Yiu can buy day outfits if you want but lots of babies live in sleepsuits, especially at this time of year.

My DS is exactly the same. 11mo and now pushing 12-18.

Don't buy anything fitted! Doesn't last 2 minutes. DS lives in vests/tops and legging/jogger things (Zara mainly!) Also some soft dungarees, again not the fitted ones.
