Hello all,

Sorry if too much information with this post! My DS is 7 weeks old and formula fed (Cow and Gate) has been since birth.

He's gone from in the past when few weeks old pooping couple times a day, to then once a day to then every other day... but now he hasn't had a bowel movement since Friday (8th Dec) morning...

He doesn't seem uncomfortable, he strains and grunts now and then like he is trying to go, and farts like a trooper!

When he went in the past his stools are paste like, not hard so can't be constipated as such...

Anyone else had experience of this? Is this normal? Or should he be going more often?

Thank you in advance! Smile

Not sure on this one sorry. Some things can help them poo though, like leaving them on their change mat without a nappy on so that they can kick their legs around. Tummy massage, there are sone videos on YouTube. Putting them in a sling and help too.

Is he getting enough milk too? They should be having roughly 2.5 floz for every pound in weight.
