Black mucus in poo

Hi there

Looking for some advice. My baby is 11 months old, formula fed and eating loads. He recently had some mucus in his poo but related it to a cold. This morning his poo is quite runny with black mucus in it. Anyone any ideas what this may be? Xxx

What has he been eating? Any blackberries., blueberries or beetroot? If not then you need to see GP.

Mucus suggests allergy and Black suggests old blood.
